Community Garden and Learning Center
(507) 533 - 5316
The Village was founded in 2019, and in 2020 the project moved to land donated by Covenant Church and Community Presbyterian Church in northwest Rochester, MN, which were previously managed by Channel One and in operation since 1987.
The purpose of these community gardens is to bring together people of all cultures who need access to land as a means to grow their own food. In addition to sharing the land, we hope to share everything there is to know about food: how to grow, prepare, season, cook, freeze, preserve, and commune through food. We are grateful to our partners at University of Minnesota - Rochester, Diversity Council, Olmsted County Public Health, Rochester Farmers Market, and Plant a Seed.
