Organizations We Sponsor

The purpose of these community gardens is to bring together people of all cultures who need access to land as a means to grow their own food. In addition to sharing the land, we hope to share everything there is to know about food: how to grow, prepare, season, cook, freeze, preserve, and commune through food. We are grateful to our partners at University of Minnesota - Rochester, Diversity Council, Olmsted County Public Health, Rochester Farmers Market, and Plant a Seed.

Compassionate Rochester MN would like to focus on honoring and supporting compassionate thought and action already existing in our community. To grow a culture of compassion as a binding force in our community. To create opportunities for meaningful multigenerational participation in compassionate actions. We exist because we, as individuals commit to the pursuit of this transformative work to enliven the connection to all in our community and to the world at large.
Somali Health Advisory Committee
We are an affiliation of individuals whose purpose is to eliminate health disparities among Somali Americans related to viral hepatitis and liver cancer.
Many of our youth are faced with a tremendous amount of challenges. The world is such a big place and a lot of them sometimes have trouble finding their way through it. Journie provides an atmosphere where youth can express themselves in their own language and be giving information pertaining to their every day obstacles. Our program will also provide lifelong mentors to assist with the process of preparing the youth to become our future leaders. This program will allow youth to explore the options of college by attaining information from local university scholars and their program knowledge.

Our mission: To bring about racial justice and awareness through education advocacy, and community organizing.
Ethiopian Community
of Rochester
We are an affiliation of individuals whose purpose is to enhance the lives and advocate on behalf of Individuals of Ethiopian descent in Rochester MN.
InMN
C.A.R.E.S.
We wish to convene and connect all organizations focusing their work on social justice and provide learning environments and safe spaces for exploration of racism. We know that greater impact is possible if we band together in our approach to racial inequities. The region has the scope and the diversity to require a new and more effective approach to equity work.

Vecinos Unidos is a Mexican Immigrant base nonprofit organization that builds connections for economics justice, gender and racial justice. We exist to raise confident youth, individuals and families who contribute their voices, skills, entrepreneurial spirit and cultural richness to the rest of the Rochester Community.

The Rochester Cambodian Association organization is committed to uplifting the Cambodian Community. We will provide early intervention as well as primary prevention. RCA will accomplish this through education, recreation, family guidance, cultural preservation and general assistance. RCA hopes to solve the many problems faced by Cambodian parents and their children.
