Who We Support

The purpose of these community gardens is to bring together people of all cultures who need access to land as a means to grow their own food. In addition to sharing the land, we hope to share everything there is to know about food: how to grow, prepare, season, cook, freeze, preserve, and commune through food. We are grateful to our partners at University of Minnesota - Rochester, Diversity Council, Olmsted County Public Health, Rochester Farmers Market, and Plant a Seed.

Our various faiths compel us to acknowledge the humanity of all people and to work toward justice. Our legal defense fund will provide a fair hearing for local people at risk of imprisonment and deportation.

The mission of More Women on the Move - is to empower women committed to inclusive, equitable, healthy communities and to seek and support women to run for public office.

Compassionate Rochester MN would like to focus on honoring and supporting compassionate thought and action already existing in our community. To grow a culture of compassion as a binding force in our community. To create opportunities for meaningful multigenerational participation in compassionate actions. We exist because we, as individuals commit to the pursuit of this transformative work to enliven the connection to all in our community and to the world at large.

Local nonprofits are working collaboratively to develop shared services to increase operational efficiencies. The top priorities identified by the community are health insurance,
