Savita, the Diversity Council’s Education
Program Manager, is busy working with Juan Vasquez of Rochester
Public Schools to get the word out to families in the district: ALL
children can succeed! They are putting up posters, sending
out press releases, and publishing information on websites and
in newsletters, to reach as many parents/guardians as they can
with the message about Efficacy Parent Training to help children
get better, stronger, and smarter.
According to Jeff Howard, president of
the Efficacy Institute, “It
doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, if you live
in the city or the country, if you’re single, divorced, or
married, if you went to college or you never finished high school—you
can teach your kids to work hard and to work smart.” His
most important recommendation to parents: “Teach your
kids to absolutely commit to working smart . . . because this is
what true freedom, success and quality of life are all about.”
